OverviewWe are seeking a Fire Damper Engineer in the London / M25 region, on behalf of one of our key clients. This role will be a remote position covering London and surrounding areas, working on fire dampers and smoke control systems within data centres, offices, schools and hospitals.ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections and surveys of fire dampers in commercial, residential, or industrial buildings to ensure compliance with relevant standards (such as BS9999 & BS9991).Perform testing and maintenance routines to confirm that fire dampers are in optimal working order.Identify faults, carry out cleaning, repairs or replace damaged components as required.Document inspection findings, test results and remedial actions taken; prepare detailed reports for clients and building owners.ExperienceMinimum 2 years\' experience in fire damper engineering or a similar field is required.Relevant Certifications: fire and smoke damper certificate is highly recommended.Formal Training: A City & Guilds accredited fire damper testing course or similar i.e. PPL or GT1F 04 SCQF Level 5, highly beneficial.PackageBasic salary from £32,000/pa to £40,000/pa depending on qualifications and experience.Overtime & Travel TimePension SchemeCompany vehicle, laptop, tools and fuel card #J-18808-Ljbffr
