Howells are working with an established Fire & Security contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North West. We are looking to speak to Fire and Security Engineers in the area.

They specialise in in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge & service in this sector built up over the last 40 years of trading.

Your role will be to provide field support for reactive and maintenance works for the existing customer base. You will also be required to carry out small installations, commissioning, and the occasional site survey.

Systems include fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers.

Fire & Security Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment Completing preventative maintenance and field modifications Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service log books and internal PDA reporting in a timely manner Maintaining effective communications with customers and office to ensure resolution and proper follow-up Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated Meeting Health & Safety and all other applicable regulatory requirements Identifying a...
