The RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and experienced Fire Engineer (Small Works Engineer) to join the team, delivering high-quality fire protection solutions across Kent and the Southeast. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in fire systems and a strong track record of installing and commissioning medium-scale installations.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and maintain medium-scale fire alarm and detection systemsManage small works projects independently, ensuring timely and compliant deliveryConduct fault finding, remedial works, and system upgradesLiaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project executionMaintain accurate documentation and adhere to BS5839, BS5266, and other relevant standardsThe PersonExperienced and progressed through installation and commissioning, to client sign off on projects.Proven experience installing and commissioning medium-scale fire systemsCompletion of FIA Courses 1, 2, 3, and 5 (Fire Detection & Alarm Foundation, Design, Installation, and Maintenance)Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and British StandardsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailFull UK driving licenceBased in or around Gillingham, KentThe OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)Company vehicle and fuel cardOngoing training and career developmentSupportive and collaborative team culturePension scheme and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
