MB842: Fire Engineer\nLocation: Cambridge\nSalary: £35,000 - £45,000\nWorking Hours: Mon to Fri 37 hours per week\nCompany Benefits: Generous holiday allowance, Contributory pension scheme with life assurance, Employee share scheme , Employee shopping savings portal, Payment of Professional Fees\n\nOverview:\n\nFirst Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic Engineering Consultancy business who are looking to recruit a Fire Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nDeliver a high quality, cost-effective, customer focused solutions for clients in relation to fire safety and provide technical support to your team.\nNote that your team will vary in capability, from Senior down to Graduate level. This role will potentially progress to a management role within the company.\nYou will be responsible to the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) to undertake delivery and management of Fire Engineering Services.\nAssist the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) in ensuring that the team provides quality services efficiently, effectively and reliably and the requirements of Best Value\nare met.\nEnsure that services are delivered within the Company’s quality standards, contractual arrangements, performance targets, budgetary control and legislative requirements.\nAssist in the preparation of reports and inputting in meetings as requested.\nRepresent the Company in formal and informal interfaces with clients.\nParticipate in multi-disciplinary teams as may be required to achieve the Company’s corporate objectives.\nMeet regularly with the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) to advise, discuss and consult on work requirements, objectives, priorities and deadlines.\nDeputise for the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) as and when required, and assist with the provision of effective service delivery.\nBe responsible for delivering a range of projects in an effective and efficient way, ensuring that best practice is embedded into solutions.\nEnsure that all necessary engineering services advice is available to Clients.\nEnsure compliance with the associated administrative functions in accordance with Company policy and procedure.\nAssist in the control of work within a professional team responsible for service delivery.\nEnsure customer needs are identified through regular consultation.\nImplement, quality initiatives applicable to the areas of responsibility covered by the post.\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nEngineering related degree (or equivalent)\nAble to think broadly and strategically.\nSupports and drives continuous improvement.\nAble to handle a significant and varied work load under pressure and with limited supervision\nAble to work as part of a team\nPersonal and professional demeanour, probity, integrity and credibility which command the respect and confidence of Clients, senior managers, staff, external partners and other\nstakeholders.\nAble to develop positive client/customer relationships.\nFlexible approach to work.\nCommitted to the principles of equality and diversity.\nMB842: Fire Engineer\nLocation: Cambridge\nSalary: £35,000 - £45,000\nWorking Hours: Mon to Fri 37 hours per week\nCompany Benefits: Generous holiday allowance, Contributory pension scheme with life assurance, Employee share scheme , Employee shopping savings portal, Payment of Professional Fees
