Our consultancy client has extensive experience in delivering complex projects in a variety of developments. They strive to deliver Fire Engineering Strategies that are as detailed as possible and pinpoint multiple aspects of a building that should be addressed in order to ensure a high level of fire safety.
As a Fire Engineer, you will be operating as a senior, experienced team member, expected to support and lead as directed, in the successful delivery of high-quality fire consultancy work.
You could be located anywhere in the UK and will be expected to successfully deliver high-quality fire engineering services and be responsible for the delivery of technical and complex fire engineering and consultancy projects, delivering complex fire strategies and upholding the company and professional bodies' codes of conduct and cultures.
About the role:-
Oversee the delivery of projects, providing and maintaining a technically compliant service and high-quality deliveries
Delivering complex fire strategies
Fire calculation modelling
Structural fire engineering methods
Software packages – fire evacuation modelling
Produce fire safety management plans
Identify fire-related risks
Incorporate fire safety procedures into designs
Make recommendations for the materials used in the construction or refurbishment
Visit sites to conduct site inspections and advise on the designs
Liaise with local authorities, architects and building control professionals as and when required
Contribute to the delivery of projects on time and to budget
