Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You\'ll ensure effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls and additional small works, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of fire extinguishers/associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards, alongside appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Support PPM, reactive calls and small works within the Fire & Security Systems industry, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in fault-finding techniques; perform service tests and inspections to relevant standards/codes; actively attend company-initiated training to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication skills; basic Microsoft Word and Excel literacy.
• Ability to work to high levels of Health and Safety requirements; experience in a similar role carrying out PPM, reactive calls and small works in the Fire & Security Systems industry.
• Experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS; knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation; strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work with little supervision.
