OverviewProject Engineer – Covering NW & North Wales. Take the lead in technically engineering, installing, and managing a diverse range of projects—both large and small—across the Marlowe portfolio. You’ll play a pivotal role in planning and delivering projects and commissioning works, working closely with key clients to meet critical deadlines. The role focuses on ensuring each project runs smoothly and profitably, with an unwavering commitment to health, safety, and quality in line with company standards.Join a fast-growing team at Marlowe Fire & Security with a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive salary and generous pension/benefits.ResponsibilitiesEnsure project delivery aligns with the agreed programme timeline, proactively escalating any delays to the Project Manager.Conduct technical reviews and process project orders through the Sales Order Processing system, forwarding requirements to the Purchasing Department.Safeguard Marlowe’s commercial interests by maintaining clear and professional correspondence with customers regarding project delays and issues.Plan, coordinate, and manage labour and material resources to ensure successful project delivery.Allocate necessary Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and engineering documentation to site teams; verify commissioning is completed in accordance with British Standards on project completion.Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.Attend site meetings and liaise with designers and customers to manage design variations.Manage assigned engineers and subcontractors, including timesheets, holiday schedules, and performance oversight.Monitor and report on project profitability, achieving financial targets and reporting key metrics to the Project Manager.Oversee on-site health and safety compliance, conducting audits and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.Ensure compliance with Marlowe’s Quality Management Systems, Processes, and Health, Safety & Environmental standards.RequirementsOver 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry, with a focus on engineering projects across single and multi-site locations.Highly motivated and enthusiastic professional who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments.Strong communication skills paired with in-depth technical knowledge of major systems and complex projects.Proven technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and project success.Track record of delivering results through problem-solving and a solution-focused mindset.Willing and flexible to travel across the UK as needed to ensure timely project completion, while adhering to all health and safety standards.Capable of working effectively under pressure, whether independently or as part of a team.Our SystemsFire: Gent, Notifier, Kentec, Ziton, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Protec; Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier, Risco; CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Generic Analogue Systems; Access Control: Paxton, PAC, Salto.BenefitsCompetitive Salary – up to £38,000 per annum, with overtime and travel considerations.Enhanced Pension Scheme – Royal London Pension.Comprehensive Life Assurance – 4x annual salary.Generous Holiday Package – Paid holidays plus bank holidays, with additional day per year of service (up to 25 days).Referral Bonus Scheme – Up to £1,000 per successful candidate referral (no limit).Mental Health & Wellbeing Support – Access to wellbeing resources and support.Employee Recognition Programme – Structured recognition for contributions.Career Growth & Development – Ongoing training and progression opportunities.Equality & Right to WorkEqual Opportunities: We cultivate a diverse and inclusive environment.
