The Role
We are seeking a technically skilled and sales-driven Fire & Security Systems Sales Engineer to join our busy Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to enquiries, creating strategies to win orders
Arrange and conduct site surveys where required
Produce accurate designs, quotations, and proposals following industry standards
Prepare quotations for small works, remedial tasks, and system enhancements
Convert engineer reports into quotations with accuracy and speed
Create tailored proposals that clearly communicate customer value
Review specifications and drawings to ensure compliant bids
Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and produce forecasts
Support colleagues in presenting proposals and following up with clients
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise client value

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional with both sales and technical expertise. About you:
At least 5 years' experience in surveying and designing fire, security, access, or call systems
Strong communication skills, especially telephone and client-facing
Experience in sales or estimating within the fire & security industry
Training and knowledge of relevant British Standards and design guidelines
High IT literacy (CAD skills an advantage)
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
A proactive, driven, and customer-centric approach
