We have since developed into market leaders in providing quality product solutions throughout the fire and security marketplace nationwide.Thanks to a combined wealth of knowledge and experience between our directors, Global have become industry experts in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire safety, fire suppression and security systems.Due to continued growth and market development, we are now seeking to appoint a Fire System Service Engineers - Electrical, to be field based to be field based covering XXX and the surrounding area.Job Purpose:To undertake all electrical works within the Area in an efficient and safe manner, with repairs undertaken as appropriate.To ensure all planned maintenance is carried out in line with its scheduled date.Key AccountabilitiesTo ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & SafetyTo monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment. Record inspection reportsTo keep logs of inspection reports and remedial workTo have working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety proceduresTo undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriateTo report any defects at time of service visitTo carry out works specifiedTo be responsible for vehicle and stock control of materialsTo complete all work-related documentation accurately and on timeTo understand and comply with policies and proceduresTo carry out work in a safe and diligent mannerTo attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as requiredTo undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as requiredFollow Group and company policies and procedures at all timesReport any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environmentUse all work equipment and personal PPE correctly and in accordance with training receivedReport any issues or training needs to your Field Line manager or incident reporting systemAbout YouCity and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalentIEE 18th Edition RegulationsExperience in dealing with all types of electrical fire life safety works, within the services sectorKnowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practicesStrong customer care focusBe proactive and capable of anticipating potential faultsFull UK driving licenceAble to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights of up to 25kgAbility to meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Customer focused, possess good organisational skills.Does this sound like you?Then we would love to hear from you, send us your CV using the link below.Excited about the role, but your past experience or qualifications don’t perfectly match everything in the job description?
