Job Title: Fire Stopper\nLocation: Croydon\nSalary: Competitive + Package\n\nEstablished in 1989, Our client is the UK's leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country.\n\nWith offices nationwide, this is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking, modern construction business, that genuinely cares about it's people.\n\nFire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Duties:\n\nWe are looking for candidates with previous experience working on Fire stopping/Fire Door projects:\n\nInstall fire stopping to fire doors\nSmall to large penetrations\nUse of ablative batts\nReading site plans\nWorking in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces\nEnsure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS)\nConsistently achieve agreed performance targets\nKeep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays\nMaintain cleanliness of provided vehicle\nAdhere to the company's quality procedures in all aspects of the job\nAct in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirementsFire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Experience:\n\nNVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection \nFIRAS card but not required\nFull driving license\nGood communication skillsYou will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success.
