About the role As part of our Development team, you will design and create scalable, secure, and optimised embedded software systems. Key responsibilities include: Developing and modifying firmware architectures for technologies like ARM Cortex-A/M, RTOS, SPI, I2C, UART, WIEGAND, and Raspberry Pi. Designing, testing, and debugging electronic circuits and PCB layouts using tools like Circuit Studio, Proteus, Multimeters, and Oscilloscopes. Collaborating with the Development team topropose solutions, identify risks, and contribute to architectural decisions. Communicating technical changes effectively and supporting team members in their deliverables. Attending monthly onsite team meetings in Eastbourne to discuss products, improvements and future developments. What were looking for: Proven experience in embedded systems design, programming (C, Python, RTOS, bare metal, MQTT), and troubleshooting. Proficiency with IDEs such as Keil uVision, Pycharm, and circuit/PCB design. Hands-on debugging and soldering skills. A confident decision-maker with strong communication and collaboration abilities, driven by continuous personal and technical growth. To be based within the South East, and able to commit to Monthly onsite meetings in Eastbourne.
