Position: Forklift Engineer

Location: North West (Field-Based)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift Engineer to join their team, covering the North West region. This hands-on role involves providing expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of material-handling equipment. You'll play a key part in ensuring customers' operations run smoothly with safe, reliable, and efficient machinery.

Job Overview

Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of various forklift trucks and material-handling equipment

Work both independently and as part of a supportive team to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency

Split between workshop and field-based duties, supporting a diverse customer base across multiple industries

Role Requirements

Proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklifts or similar material-handling equipment

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)

Full UK driving licence

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong communication and customer service skills
