The Team

Our engineers know the drill – they’ve been paged at 3am. They’re on a mission to transform those wee-hour wake-up calls into smoother, more manageable experiences for engineering teams everywhere. What really sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to our customers. We’re now looking for frontend engineers who can help take our product to the next level. You’ll work primarily in React and Typescript, building beautiful, reliable, and performant user interfaces that delight our customers. While you’re comfortable collaborating with backend engineers, your expertise is firmly in the frontend – making things feel fast, intuitive, and polished. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship features end-to-end on the frontend, ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable experience every time they use our product. Our primary stack includes Typescript with React on the frontend, Go for backend services, and Postgres for our main data store. We deploy to Google Cloud Platform with GKE and Cloud SQL, and our CI/CD runs through CircleCI.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building and maintaining high-quality frontend features in React and Typescript, ensuring a smooth, fast, and accessible user experience.
  • Collaborating with designers and product managers to turn concepts and wireframes into production-ready interfaces.
  • Partnering with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver end-to-end features.
  • Improving our design system and component library, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
  • Iterating quickly to ship impactful changes that make the product more delightful and intuitive.
  • Raising the bar for frontend craft, from clean code and thorough testing to thoughtful performance optimisations.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • A deep understanding of modern frontend development practices, including state management, component architecture, and responsive design.
  • Experience working with design systems and translating designs into high-quality code.
  • Familiarity with web performance best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Comfortable collaborating with backend teams, but your expertise and passion lie in the frontend.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a customer-focused mindset.
