We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our Hosted Payment Pages team to unleash the potential of every business.

Overview

Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Hosted Payment Pages is a talented group building and maintaining Worldpay Hosted Payment Pages for clients ranging from small and medium businesses to some of the world’s largest brands. Our group emphasises learning, code quality, ownership, empowerment, automation, and agile ways of working. What You’ll Own

• Be the Senior Front-End Engineer across two engineering teams, working closely with Full Stack and Quality Assurance Engineers from both teams.
• Liaise and support Product, Engineering and Architecture colleagues with technical designs, ideas and direction for our front-end development.
• Collaboratively develop the front-end features and engineering capabilities for Hosted Payment Pages, with automation wherever necessary.
• Collaborate in all stages of front-end development, from requirement discussions with the Product Owner to the deployment of the feature in the cloud.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers from other squads to make decisions around technologies, patterns, and approaches to adopt.

Where you’ll own it

You’ll own it in our Cambridge or City of London hubs. Our sites are hubs of activity, conversation, and openness with inspiring workspaces designed to help you do your best work.

What You Bring

• Experience with React, NodeJS, Material UI, Figma and Storybook.
• Experience with front-end unit testing, component testing, visual testing and mutation testing.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
• An engineering skillset focused on quality, regardless of the activity.
• Experience mentoring engineers at all levels.
• An agile mindset driving your squad and wider tribe towards better ways of working.
• Curiosity, listening, and a drive to learn and improve daily.
• Commitment to creating a culture of honesty and accountability and simplifying the complex to create impact.

A bonus if you have

• Experience of WCAG Accessibility standards
• Experience of PCI-DSS
