Front Office Support Engineer
My Financial Services Client are currently looking for a Front Office Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities include:
Champion 'follow the sun' support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US
Perform regional start of day health checks
Provide daily application support and troubleshooting with proprietary tools
An application support focus on back-office flows, particularly around Regulatory and Transaction Reporting support
Engage daily with all internal stakeholders with regards to support issues
Utilise incident-management system to help identify trends and patterns
Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
Support product testing, project work and Identify possible platform improvements
Key Experience required:
Strong hands on support experience of a trading platform within a financial institution
Equities / Algorithmic Trading Knowledge e.g. Industry standard algorithms (VWAP, TWAP, IS, POV etc.)
Excellent knowledge of the FIX protocol.
Successful track history in a Linux Environment.
Automation and scripting experience
