As a Front-End Engineer at Via, you’ll be an integral part of our London team, driving the development of user-facing features that directly impact our products and customers. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and enhance front-end tools that elevate the experience for users, delivering innovative and high-performing solutions. Your work will focus on creating seamless, intuitive interfaces from scratch and continuously optimizing existing features to improve usability and drive product success. What You’ll Do

Design and implement user-facing features by building new components, pages, and modals using React and TypeScript.
Integrate the latest third-party libraries to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance, while adhering to best practices.
Write clean and efficient front-end code for Via’s app, used by 600+ partners across the world to enable efficient, equitable and affordable transportation for everyone – elderly citizens, people with disabilities, school children and commuters
Collaborate with talented full-stack and back-end engineers, product designers and product managers to create user-centric and visually appealing products
Stay up to date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols

Who You Are

BSc. Computer Science or similar.
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience - Must.
Experience with React - Must.
Strong knowledge of Typescript/Javascript - Must.
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Experience with map applications / gis related is an advantage.
