Full Stack Engineer / Developer (TypeScript) – London to £75k

Location

London office four days a week, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large, distributed, scalable web-based systems in a modern cloud environment (AWS) using a microservices architecture.
• Backend development with TypeScript and Node.js; exposure to React on the frontend.
• Collaborate across multiple teams and product streams, maintaining a focus on code quality.
• Support real-time, live streaming technology and Video on Demand initiatives to enhance education globally.

About you / Qualifications

• Strong full stack web development experience using TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with AWS, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and data streaming (Kafka)
• Willingness to do frontend work with React
• Experience working on large-scale systems with millions of users
• Comfortable with AI concepts
• Collaborative with Agile team experience
