Your responsibilities include implementing vital technology solutions across various technical domains to effectively support the firm's business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver high quality code using best practice approaches for resilient and scalable applicationsWork effectively with both Java backend services and connected TypeScript based React frontendsExecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experienceHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficient in coding in Java and TypeScriptExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFamiliarity with Salt design system, visual regression and accessibility testingExposure to cloud technologiesFamiliarity with enterprise workflow enginesData-driven mindset and an aptitude to integrating metrics to deliveriesAbout UsJ.P.
