Our Mission
Fossil fuel emissions are at an all-time high, and much of those emissions come from the factories that produce iron, steel and cement for Western markets. Now a game-changing law called the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is forcing companies to pay for their supply chain emissions. CBAM requires an unprecedented level of data-sharing and analytical power in order for businesses to minimise emissions.
CBAMBOO was set up to answer that need. Our mission is to decarbonise heavy industry. Our platform connects decision makers with their value chain emissions. It keeps companies compliant. And it will integrate carbon prices into key management decisions for the first time.
Backed by leading venture capital funds and with a mission-driven spirit, we’re guiding the decision-making of the world’s biggest polluters. Our analytics platform will play an outsize role in driving down global emissions.
Your Mission
We’re seeking a talented software engineer to join the team, contributing to delivering the features in our roadmap.
You will contribute to the development of our core products, working within the development team to continuously strengthen our systems. Our goal is to build the best product available in the CBAM space and to become a flagship company in the field of climate and financial data.
In 2025, our ambitious roadmap is focused on three major projects:
Maximising the growth of the CBAMBOO network by implementing a Product-Led Growth strategy that will make the platform viral across companies in heavy industry.
Developing the analytics tools in the platform that will enable our customers to use data to minimise their tax liability - which means they’ll reduce their emissions.
Staying on top of the regulation’s evolution. The EU CBAM will keep changing which means keeping the platform up to date. We will also need to build functionality to be manage CBAMs in other regions.
