Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 35+ person start-up who were part of Y Combinator’s S24 batch in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Engineering & Product department currently 20 people, as we continue to grow throughout the year. Role Description

You will be working alongside our Lead Engineer as part of a small team focusing on specific product features for our Heating product. This will mean enhancing the OS for our core customer market whilst also working on building out additional features related to invoicing, billing and 3rd party integrations. As an Engineer within the team, you will be exposed to working on something 0-1, as the second person in the UK (supported by a wider team in Berlin). You’ll be continuously involved in decision making, as opposed to having narrow and machine-like tasks in a larger organisation. This work will consist of building UI links and widgets, mapping out data and correlating systems so that they work seamlessly. Other examples of features includes allowing users to import and export 3D scans and renders, handling billing/invoicing, as well as managing their subscriptions. Other responsibilities will include: Creating Frontend applications in React Focusing on flawless Frontend designs and UI Interacting with the Design team to improve UX Be hands-on in designing, coding and testing cycles for both existing and new features Develop B2B SaaS applications Have a high level of responsibility to turn ideas into performant and reliable code The role is Fullstack, with a 80/20 split between Frontend & Backend. Requirements

2-5 years of working experience Exposure to working with Frontend technologies such as React, Typescript and TailwindCSS Database, Backend and Cloud experience is a nice to have Experience building B2B SaaS products Based in London with a willingness to work hybrid (office near Liverpool St) The right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor unfortunately) What We Offer

Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market. autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps. Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030.
