Role Overview:

Thirteen Group is on the lookout a Gas Engineer tojoin our gas team.

You'll work primarily in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough), with occasional travel beyond. You'll have a fixed shift pattern of 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays in summer. In the winter, these hours will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 3.30pm on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

Be a part of our high performing gas team, working safely to ensure we meet all our compliance requirements. We'll provide you with a company van, fuel card, tools and any PPE you'll need for the role. Service and repair gas appliances to keep our customers safe and warm. Complete associated gas certification documentation. You'll work line with gas safety, installation and use regulations, as well as our standard operating procedures. Jobs are planned for you by our Work Planners - so you can concentrate on carrying out work to a high standard, ensuring 'right first time'. Contribute to our 'TradePlus' scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

About You:

Relevant experience as a Gas Engineer and able to complete services and repairs to a high standard. Has an NVQ Level 3 / Craft Certificate in Gas Fitting, as well as the following Domestic qualifications: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, MET1. Any commercial gas qualifications would be a plus. CRK1 & HTR1 are preferable to have. Holds a valid UK driving licence. Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn. We use mobile and hand-held devices to allocate jobs and for you to record your completion of work. A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations. We'd particularly be interested in hearing from applicants.
