Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer (North East) Location: DH, DL, TS, NE & SR postcodes Sector: Social Housing / Housing Association Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract. Key Responsibilities: Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR) Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records Requirements: A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualifications Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills
