Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Aylesbury & Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)

Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems

Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care

Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualifications

Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills

In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1

Full UK driving licence

No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)

Salary & Benefits:

42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates

Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided

Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 per year after probation

Out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in 4) paid £600 per week during winter (October to March) and £400 per week in summer (April to September) guaranteeing an additional £7,000 per year on top of salary

OTE £45,000+ per annum

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
