The O'Neil Group has four divisions covering a wide range of services. The O'Neil Care division provides service contracts for more then 7,000 domestic and commercial clients. We are in our 30th year as a company.

The O'Neil Boiler Company installs approx. 400 new gas boilers per year, while the O'Neil Green Energy offers low-carbon renewable products such as Heat Pumps, Battery storage & Solar PV installs. We have our own training centre at our head office to offering extra training for our engineers.

The O'Neil Gas, Plumbing & Electrical department handles about 15,000 jobs yearly offering a 24/7 emergency call-out service. Head offices in Ayrshire but cover full west & central Scotland,the company employs skilled engineers and has built a reputation for quality and excellent customer service since its founding in 1994. We employ 24 people & we require extra engineers to cover extra work as the compaies grows into new locations.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time remote role for a Gas Repair/Service Engineer. The Gas Repair/Service Engineer will be responsible for tracing & repairs to gas appliances and performing general maintenance and servicing work. Daily tasks include conducting field service visits, trace/repair, providing technical support to clients, managing emergency call-outs and ensuring all work complies with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
• Field Service and Maintenance & Repair skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the gas, plumbing, and electrical industry is a plus
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in gas, plumbing, or electrical work
