Google Cloud Engineer

Location: Sheffield (3 Days Onsite)

Rate: Up to £675/day - inside ir35

Join a major digital transformation programme as a Google Cloud Engineer, working at the forefront of cloud innovation within a globally renowned financial services firm.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and automation
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform), and container orchestration
• Ensure compliance, security, and performance across cloud solutions

Required skills:

• Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform)
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices
• Experience working in large-scale, enterprise environments

What’s on offer:

• Day rate: £650–£700
• Hybrid model: 3 days onsite in Sheffield
• Initial contract with likely extensions
• Inside IR35
