Main Purpose of Job: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assets to ensure optimal performance and functionality.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on assets to ensure optimal performance and functionality.Ensure maintenance is carried out to the highest standard and report any follow-up actions to the relevant manager/supervisor/helpdesk.Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety of work areas and report any areas of concern to the relevant manager/supervisor.Ensure the company vehicle (should this form part of your role) is clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times, reflecting the company’s commitment to professionalism and quality service. Complete regular vehicle inspection reports in conjunction with the company fleet administrator.Present a professional image on-site, adhering to the company dress code and wearing the appropriate workwear.Work safely and responsibly, always adhering to the company’s safety procedures and guidelines.Team / Skill SpecificCarry out tasks in line with SFG20 maintenance specification.Collaborate with colleagues in the maintenance division.Administration / ReportsComplete electronic worksheets and PDF/print reports on the day the work is carried out and left on site.Communicate professionally with the helpdesk and all staff members throughout the company, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.Ensure the helpdesk is updated with your work status daily.FinanceComplete timesheets weekly.Submit all overtime via timesheets with the cut-off on the 10th of every month.Submit expenses no later than Tuesday midday every week to ensure no delays in payment.CommunicationDevelop a good working relationship with co-workers and work closely with the helpdesk.Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service.Technical Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceDemonstrate an efficient and good standard of work across a varying and sometimes demanding fabrication, e.g.Internal and external paintingBasic flat roof repairsDoor planning and re-hangingFloor and wall tilingRendering repairsPressure washingFitting ceiling and wall access hatchesOpen mind to learn new skillsSoft SkillsAbility to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.Good communication and people skills.Punctual.Professional – smart appearance in company uniform.Solutions focused.QualificationsGCSEs at grade C in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).PASMAIPAFHarness trainedAbrasive wheelMinimum 5 years’ experience in commercial building services.Chilton Business Centre,Southwater House,Chilton HP18 9LS #J-18808-Ljbffr
