Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong mechanical background in diesel engines, fault diagnosis and repair? Speedy Hire invites you to apply for the Generator and Compressor Engineer role.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites and carry out planned service maintenance and repair of generators and compressors ranging from 20 to 1400 kva
• Fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs and diagnosing mechanical failures
• Liaise with external departments and customers
• Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs
• Comply with the company Health and Safety policy

What Youll Need

• Full driving licence
• Good knowledge of diesel engines
• Experience in fault-finding, replacing parts, repairing and diagnosing mechanical failures
• Experience maintaining and repairing similar equipment
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to hours due to overtime
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver
