Generator Engineer – Field based, covering Midlands region. £35,800 per annum + Plenty of Overtime Available + Company Van, Mobile, Laptop + Early Finish on Friday + 33 Days Holiday Inc Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of generators, fault finding i.e. control panel, AC/DC electrical systems, genset synchronization
  • Maintain and service generator sets across a Midlands patch (up to Liverpool, Sheffield, down to Oxford & Worcester) with occasional visits to the depot in Birmingham
  • Work autonomously to provide reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites

Hours and Pay Details

  • £17.25 p/h basic, 39 hrs per week - 8:00am to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 15:30 finish Friday
  • Overtime 1.5x - paid from 6:00am to 8:00am, then 16:30 to 00:00
  • Overtime 2.0x - paid 00:00 to 6:00am

Requirements

  • NVQ in plant maintenance/equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working on generators
  • Full, Clean UK driving license
  • Looking to develop your skills through industry specific training and courses

Location

Midlands patch (up to Liverpool, Sheffield, down to Oxford & Worcester). Occasional visits to the depot in Birmingham required
