Job Title: Generator Engineer Location: Baintree Position Type: Full-Time - Perm Pay rate: £15.00-£19.00ph (after 40 hours paid at 1.5x) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Generator Engineer to support, maintain, and repair large mining and construction equipment. This role involves hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving in the field, and delivering high-quality service to ensure maximum equipment uptime and performance. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on large hydraulic shovels and excavators (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems).

Conduct field inspections and preventative maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.

Accurately identify equipment faults and determine corrective actions in a timely manner.

Provide technical support, training, and guidance to customers and operators on equipment use and care.

Prepare detailed service reports, including diagnostics performed, parts used, and work completed.

Collaborate with engineering and product support teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while working on-site.
