As a family-owned business, we value integrity, innovation, and technical excellence - and we\'re proud to support critical power needs nationwide with a dependable and growing team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement synchronisation plans for multi-generator and grid-tied installationsExecute synchronisation procedures and perform functional testing of control equipmentIntegrate generators into complex power systems, including load sharing and DNO grid connectionsConduct site diagnostics and fault-finding on generator control systems and synchronisation faultsTravel to customer sites using a company vehicle (door-to-door paid)Accurately document work, service reports, and maintenance recordsCollaborate with internal Coordinators for job planning and resource managementParticipate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 in 6 weeks, with standby pay)Adhere to all WBPS H&S, environmental, and quality policiesWhat We're Looking ForQualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (Time-served or NVQ Level 3+)Strong experience in generator systems or related electrical fieldsFamiliarity with synchronisation of multi-generator systemsKnowledge of generator control panels: COMAP, DEEP SEA, DEIFProven diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsComfortable working on three-phase, split-phase, and single-phase systemsExperience working with DNO providers and knowledge of grid tie-in processesA background in diesel and electric generator operation and integrationAbility to communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleaguesExperience in a mobile engineering role is advantageousWhat We Offer£18.40+ per hour (based on experience)Door-to-door payOvertime after 40 hoursOn-call rota (approx. 1 in 6 weeks) with standby fee33 days holiday, including bank holidaysOngoing technical training and upskillingPrivate healthcareDeath in service benefitCompany van and fuel cardLong-term progression opportunities in a growing businessAccess to our employee assistance programmeJoin WB Power Services and become a key part of the team that keeps the UK powered and connected #J-18808-Ljbffr
