Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Geotechnical SIte Investigation Engineer for a contract role based in Inverness. The role is set to begin in mid-October. 3 month rolling contract.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervising on-site geotechnical activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications
Conducting detailed logging of soil and rock samples
Overseeing the excavation of trial pits and ensuring accurate data collection
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
Maintaining detailed records of site activities and findings
Ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed
Job Requirements:
Experience in geotechnical engineering
Proficiency in geotechnical logging and data collection techniques
Ability to supervise site activities independently
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction environment
Job Details:
Location: Allness and Inverness, Scotland
Start Date: Mid-October
Work Schedule: 10 days on, 4 days off
Overtime: Time and a half on weekends
Outside IR35
3 month rolling - likely long term contract
