We are looking for an experienced and motivated Global Functions Quality Engineer to drive quality-related activities across our Global Functions (e.g., Sense, Business Solutions, Engineering). You will analyze key quality metrics, identify improvement projects, and manage the relevant Quality Management System (QMS) with the support of the wider Global Quality Team.
This role works closely with the Global Quality System Improvement Engineer and supports Global Functions in creating value through Business Process, Production Process, and Product & Service Quality Excellence.
You will collaborate with colleagues across the globe and may travel internationally to support audits, projects, and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on root cause analysis and the development of corrective and preventive action plans
- Analyze trends and quality metrics to identify recurring issues
- Prepare and share Lessons Learned from quality events
- Manage the Quality Management System for the relevant Global Function
- Work on continuous improvement of the Global QMS
- Support strategic projects and quality initiatives
- Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching
- Promote global quality awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of quality and implement best practices
- Engage in on-site visits globally to ensure alignment and share best practices
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Significant experience in technical roles, preferably within a large, multi-location business
- Knowledge of QMS processes; ISO 9001 preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred
- Familiarity with quality tools (Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, RCA, Control Plans, IPPAP, etc.)
- Ability to handle technically complex problems
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as part of project and audit work
- Flexibility to be based anywhere in Europe
