OverviewGlobal Technology Software Engineer Summer 2026 Analyst - Bromley at Bank of America. This role is part of Global Technology and involves experience across design, development, and support of applications to meet the bank’s products and services in multiple countries.Location: Bromley, United Kingdom. The programme provides training and development, with opportunities to participate in real technology delivery during the summer. ResponsibilitiesProviding technical experience to design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art technology applications using technologies such as Java, C++, .NET, Python, and Web servicesGathering and translating internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications and business process reengineeringCoding solutions, completing unit tests, and ensuring integration with the overall application/system with robust interfacesParticipating in delivery/release (CI/CD) activities, including branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, systems design documents, and release notesEligibilityCandidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027 (evidence may be requested before extending an offer)Minimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)Available to join the programme from June 2026 to August 2026Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2027; some lines of business may offer January or April start dates.
