Position: (phone number removed) GME T&F Manufacturing Lead Engineer \n\nLocation: Halewood\n\nPosition Type: Contract \n\nInside IR35\n\nSalary: £41.00 per hour umbrella inside IR35\n\nI am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a GME T&F Manufacturing Lead Engineer to join their team on a long term rolling contract\n\n40 hours per week\n\nInside IR35\n\n Duties: \n\nTrim and Final Facilities are responsible for the development and introduction of new and modified facilities associated with new model introductions and model year changes.\nEnsure facility installations are delivered through strict adherence to Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS) and Launch Quality Operating System (LQOS) Gateways deliverables, the Clients' Health & Safety and Manufacturing Engineering Facility procurement procedures.\nProject manage the planning and implementation of facility installations for new model introductions.\nLead the creation of detailed facility timing plans in line with manufacturing launch strategies.\nLead supplier selection and vendor management activities with the Clients' purchasing.\nProvide feasibility statements for Product designs to suit manufacturing process & facility requirements.\nCreate and maintain detailed cost trackers up to and beyond programme approval. \n\nSkills, Experience and Qualifications Required:\n\nDetailed understanding of NEBOSH and Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations\nProven track record of delivering facilities within a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to set individual and team objectives and measure performance against them.\nPrevious experience of managing multiple facility suppliers and concurrent projects.\nExperience of and involvement in product launches.\nDegree qualified in relevant engineering discipline ().\nKnowledge of and involvement in product development including use of virtual toolsets.\nCandidate must have a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines. \n\nWhy work through Contechs?\n\nContechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
