Overview Born in 2014, Yoti is a digital identity and biometric technology company that makes it safer for people to prove who they are. The Yoti app was designed with privacy at its core, giving people a secure way to prove their identity and share third-party credentials with organisations and other people.
Today, we have over ten million app downloads around the world. We’ve expanded our offering to a suite of business solutions that span identity verification, age verification and estimation, e-signing, AI anti-spoofing technologies and we continue to think of innovative new offerings.
From day one, we’ve been working to fix an outdated identity system. This is not a journey we make on our own but with policy advisors, think tanks, researchers, academics, humanitarian bodies, our users and everyday people. We are committed to solving identity problems through grassroots research and social purpose initiatives.
Team and Project The team currently have multiple projects that they work on. The main project is an internal tool used to assist humans to verify documents; an IAM project is for access control to a system and a couple of smaller projects.
The team is cross functional, with multiple Frontend and Backend developers, along with QAs and a Product Owner. You will work closely with all these people while working in an agile sprint based environment across Europe and Asia. The projects are all written in Go using microservices, with a React based frontend. You will focus on one project to start with and slowly expand until you are comfortable with all.
Qualifications
Experience in Go required, with professional experience in Go/C/Node/Java using good OOP principles
Comfortable with setting up development and production environments
Experience with Docker, Nginx, Postgres and log management technology
PostreSQL databases
Solid grasp of REST and RESTful API design.
A belief in DevOps & micro-services architecture.
Testing good practices: unit and integration testing
Working understanding of transactional and multi-threaded systems.
Message queue systems.
Exposure to a team-based working environment
Source control systems (GIT) and associated working practises
Experience working in an agile environment
Strong team spirit.
Interview Process
Stage 1 - Call with the Talent Acquisition team (30 minutes)
Stage 2 - Call with the Team Lead (30 minutes)
Stage 3 - Technical Assessment
Stage 4 - Final Interview (In-person if London based)
