Role Purpose We currently recruit for a Graduate Automation Design Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer operating within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The Graduate Project Engineer (Automation – Electrical & Controls) is responsible for supporting design and delivery of innovative automation solutions within the manufacturing environment. The role is crucial for enhancing our automation capabilities, ensuring safe and efficient implementation of new systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities • Support the delivery of automation engineering projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule and technical specifications

• Guarantee all machinery and installations comply with safety standards and are supported by current technical documentation.

• Foster and support adherence to IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards

• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant

• Maintain high standards of documentation and project reporting

• Provide hands-on support with a proactive, solution-focused approach
