Our Energy Transition team is seeking graduates to join our Edinburgh or Glasgow office.Job DescriptionAs a Graduate Chemical/Process Engineer, you will support the delivery of consultancy services on renewable and energy transition engineering projects. Responsibilities include:Supporting the delivery of consultancy services on renewable and energy transition engineering projects.Providing input into feasibility level studies for renewable energy and energy transition projects.Collation and processing of project data from a wide variety of sources.Preparation of technical reports.Preparation of detailed design information.Assisting in securing work with renewable energy and energy transition developers and their supply chain.Typical Project ExamplesAECOM has supported clients in developing green fertilizer production and low-carbon fuelling hubs.Enjoy the PerksAt AECOM, you'll enjoy a range of core and personalized benefits, including career development opportunities, flexible hybrid working, and technical practice networks.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:BEng Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering degree.Able to demonstrate a commitment to continued education and improvement.Demonstrable interest in a career in renewable energy, energy transition, and decarbonization.Good Microsoft Office skills essential.Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.Preferred Qualifications:Masters/Post graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline.Some familiarity with simulation software, CAD, and ArcGIS.Work experience in the renewable energy, energy transition, or related field.AECOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
