Where will you be working?
At M Group Water, we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our engineering and delivery teams, supporting the design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across our frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, planning and delivery of civil engineering solutions for water infrastructure projects
- Support site investigations, surveys and assessments to inform design and construction decisions
- Contribute to the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers
- Attend site visits to gain hands-on experience and understand construction methodologies
- Assist in monitoring project progress, quality and compliance with health and safety standards
- Support the identification and resolution of engineering challenges during project delivery
- Learn how to manage subcontractors and suppliers, and contribute to procurement activities
- Participate in risk assessments, method statements and environmental planning

Requirements
- A degree in Construction, Civil Engineering or Project Management (or are due to graduate this year)
- Great communication skills and a willingness to learn
- A collaborative approach and a drive to make a difference
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
