You will collaborate with the design team, guiding design development and using our expertise to help clients make key decisions towards a building that delivers.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that works early in projects, values collaboration, and supports your development in an open and collaborative culture.As a Stantec graduate, you will work with your team and wider cohort, with strong support from office and technical colleagues and guidance from senior staff.ResponsibilitiesWorking on live projects from the start in a variety of sectors including healthcare and educationElectrical services design and calculations using modelling software such as Dialux, Relux and Electrical OMCollaborating with supervisors on scheme design conceptsUsing Revit and 3D BIM modelling in design production and coordinating with other disciplinesProducing detailed designs and drawingsInput into or development of energy and sustainability strategyParticipating in design team and client meetingsUndertaking site visits or surveysResearching and implementing new technologiesContinuous CPD and learning opportunitiesDesigning and creating electrical circuits, wiring and lighting as part of typical workAbout You / QualificationsA degree and/or master’s qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant subjectAdaptable, collaborative and problem-solvers who can work in dynamic environmentsAbility to work calmly in changing situations and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teamsWillingness to come into the office a minimum of 4 days per week to receive appropriate supportPlease note: Applicants must have an unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period without limitation.What We Can Offer YouA competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceHoliday buy/sell, group income protection and life assurancePermanent employment contract to support long-term career at StantecProfessional progression plan toward professional statusA supportive and collaborative team environment with Early Careers peer group and ERG networkFor questions about our graduate process, see Graduate FAQs.
