The alliance is a collaboration between Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO to deliver a large portion of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.Location: Peterborough, England, United Kingdom.
About the RoleAs a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will join our water industry team to help deliver electrical systems for treatment plants, pumping stations, control systems, and smart water networks. This role offers responsibility, diverse challenges, and long-term career development in a vital sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and delivery of electrical systems including power distribution, automation, and instrumentationAssist with the specification and selection of electrical equipmentWork closely with civil, mechanical, and process engineering teamsCarry out site surveys, commissioning, and technical inspectionsSupport with documentation, reports, and health & safety complianceEngage with contractors, clients (e.g. Anglian Water), and supply chain partners throughout project lifecycles
What We’re Looking ForA degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (BEng or MEng)An interest in sustainability, utilities, and infrastructureStrong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsEnthusiasm to work in both office and site environmentsFull UK Driving licence (or working towards it)
