OverviewEPS is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering Team. The successful candidate will work with the Lead Electrical Engineer, receive training and guidance, and contribute to projects in Power Systems Analysis, Arc Flash, and Electrical Engineering. The base location is Teesside with occasional UK travel to client sites in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, and Energy sectors. Training will cover power system modelling software ETAP, DIgSilent, and CDEGs.ResponsibilitiesConduct electrical design and produce electrical specifications and datasheets for LV and HV assets.Develop skills in power system modelling software (ETAP) and undertake power system studies such as load flow, short circuit analysis, protection coordination, transient motor starting, and arc flash studies.Join EPS engineers on site surveys to conduct soil resistivity testing.Scope and interpret client requirements to prepare and deliver effective technical solutions.Liaise with clients regularly; provide project updates and produce high-quality technical reports.Prepare commercial and technical proposals.Experience & QualificationsA firm knowledge and passion for electrical engineering is preferred. Comprehensive mentoring will be provided by senior engineers.
