Graduate Electronics Engineer

Rochester, Kent (4 days p/w on site) £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

You'll be part of the development and supply of products across a diverse mix of commercial and military platforms.

As a Graduate Electronics Engineer, you will be a part of a small dedicated team that provides support to the design and verification of digital &/or analogue electronic solutions for products such as Helmet Mounted & Head-Up Displays, Mission Computers, Flight Controls, Active Inceptors and other associated safety-critical technology.

What you'll be doing: Graduate Electronics Engineer

Providing technical support during the development and delivery of all aspects of digital &/or analogue designs from requirements development, concept and detailed design, through to product certification Managing own tasks within given schedules and budgets to meet programme needs Supporting the delivery of design artefacts in accordance with company and industry standards

Your skills and experiences: Graduate Electronics Engineer

Essential:

Awareness and basic understanding of digital &/or analogue electronics technologies; design tools and techniques, electronic circuits design, schematic capture, design analysis, design documentation, commissioning and integration Able to work in small or large teams through the engineering development lifecycle with regular supervision/guidance Awareness of cost and schedule management

Desirable:

Ideally have achieved HNC/HND in electronics engineering or an equivalent qualification Practical electronics skills, e.g. circuit card assembly, soldering, wiring, etc Awareness of component obsolescence management Familiarisation with the Mentor Graphics Expedition Enterprise toolset
