Graduate Engineer (Medical Devices)

Cure Talent are excited to be partnering with a leading organisation in the medical device industry in their search for a Graduate Engineer to join the R&D team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate to begin their career in medical device engineering. As a Graduate Engineer you will gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, from concept design and testing through to manufacturing and regulatory support. Working closely with an experienced R&D team, you will develop your technical skills while contributing to the delivery of innovative products that improve patient care.
What you will be doing:
* Support Product Engineers with product design, development and modifications through the NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
* Carry out NPI activities including testing, results reporting and regulatory support.
* Create and maintain product drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation.
* Assist with investigations, process improvements and customer complaint resolution.
* Liaise with suppliers, support engineering meetings and attend exhibitions in the UK and Europe, with occasional travel further afield.
What we are looking for:
* A recently qualified graduate in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline, with a strong interest in medical devices, plastics and improving patient care.
* Knowledge of plastics, injection moulding or plastics forming and manufacturing processes.
* Experience with 2D and 3D CAD, ideally Autodesk Fusion.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow test protocols and complete reports accurately.
