Your Role
We are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Water team in our Reading office as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme. As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your hydrogeological expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment.
The Opportunity
You will join a friendly team, contributing to high-quality projects and applying your skills to real-world challenges. Our team provides geo-environmental and geotechnical expertise, collaborating on water company projects, infrastructure development, and community initiatives. Working within multidisciplinary teams, we contribute from initial design stages through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse geotechnical data and develop ground models.
- Design and report on foundations, retaining walls, soil and rock slope stability, and earthworks.
- Use numerical analysis software to support design and assessment.
- Collaborate with technical specialists on multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
About You
At Stantec, we value your potential over past experience. You will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Geology, or Civil Engineering and a keen interest in working in the water sector. We are looking for:
