We are experts in trenchless construction and have developed out own industry approved software for data processing and assessment to simplify, and improve the delivery of geotechnical & environmental risk assessment.About the RolesAFHA is currently looking for full time Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineers to assist with our growing workload in the Infrastructure & Utilities sector. Your role, as Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer, would be supervision of site based activities reporting to the Fieldwork Manager. As a core member of the team, you will be expected to work within this team, sometimes autonomously and deliver on works (mostly field based but also office based) as scheduled. You will work closely with the Engineers and Senior Engineers to ensure that the fieldwork that you will be supervising is carried out to the highest standards. As a key member of the team, the ideal candidate will be comfortable delivering under pressure.Who Should ApplyWe seek individuals with a minimum of an undergraduate degree in one of the following; Earth Science, Engineering Geology or Geotechnics to join our growing fieldwork teams. You should have a desire to work in the geotechnical and geo-environmental sector and want to develop abilities in fieldwork supervision in order to gain the experience necessary to enable factual and interpretive report writing. The ideal candidate should have first or second class degree with a post graduate masters (not essential but desirable) and enjoy working in a fast paced environment where adaptability and flexibility is key to success.
