Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant | £27,000 | Croydon

A new opportunity for a graduate geologist has opened in Croydon. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of ground investigation projects, including mining. You will take on a variety of responsibilities alongside the ground engineering team, gaining exposure to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental work. There is also the opportunity to develop Geotechnical Design skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the ground engineering team on ground investigation projects, including soil and groundwater sampling on site.
  • Carry out desk studies and prepare reports in the office.
  • Develop skills in geotechnical design and progress towards chartership with specialist training and support.

Work Structure

This role offers a hybrid working structure with time on site and in the office. Site work includes soil and groundwater sampling, followed by desk studies and report writing in the office.

Requirements

  • Hold a geology or related degree
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Croydon office
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
