OverviewWe offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4 days per week.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely within an integrated Product and Process Development team.Planning and subsequent delivery of Product development Engineering Tasks.Attainment of knowledge and experience in the design process and implementation of new technologies.Taking the opportunity to lead in Continuous Improvement projects.Planning, carrying out and reporting results from product development trials. Compiling technical data to support design approval.Preparing technical documentation, including reports, procurement specifications and requirement specifications.Developing inspection and quality controls for components and assembled products.QualificationsAs a minimum requirement you will need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines.Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
