What You’ll Be Doing
- Design & Engineering: Assist in preparing engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Software Tools: Use specialist design software to bring concepts to life.
- Health & Safety: Receive training to ensure your designs are safe and sustainable throughout the building lifecycle.
- Site Visits: Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and apply your insights to real projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in meetings and contribute to project documentation.
- Document Management: Ensure accurate and compliant handling of project data.
- Professional Development: Benefit from continuous learning and support as you work toward chartership.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum requirement of BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Basic knowledge of CAD and engineering software
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, spreadsheets, calculations)
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in consulting or construction (preferred)
- Awareness of international business operations (a plus)
