They are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke on a permanent basis.QualificationsDegree BSc / BEng qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar0:2 years or more industry experienceProficiency with 3D CAD software: ideally SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD etc.Experience with machinery, sheet metal or electromechanical products would be idealHave the ability to carry out mechanical calculationsAny previous experience working with machinery and automated systems would be beneficialBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamHave excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Be keen to develop with a company long termExcellent proficiency with Microsoft OfficeResponsibilitiesWorking within the current engineering team with other Design EngineersSeeing through design projects from concept through to completionUsing CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsCreating component and assembly models to satisfy customer requirementsLiaising with manufacturing providersProducing the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plansUpdating 3D models and drawingsInputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMsChecking drawings for sign offWorking in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projectsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible. #J-18808-Ljbffr
