Projects also vary from pure software to those integrating standard or custom hardware. You will be developing software in a variety of areas including cyber security and image processing, and C or C++ will be your primary language (although as it continues to mature, Rust will also be used). Not all tasks are suited to C or C++ and so you can expect to use a variety of other languages such as Python and JavaScript while working here.

Requirements:

* Top undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline supported by mostly A*’s at A-Level

* Strong software skills in C or C++

* Further experience in software development gained through an internship or PhD programme is highly prized but not required

This is a fully office-based company, providing ample opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration and mentoring. Work hours are flexible, and condensed working is supported (working longer hours Monday-Thursday in exchange for having Friday off).
